Lynnea began her real estate career when her husband became a general contractor in 1994. After years of working with her husband and selling many homes "for sale by builder," Lynnea got her real estate license in 2000 and began working at a local brokerage first as part time Broker and marketing director for the company, and later as full time office manager/marketing director/transaction coordinator, and then as Principal Broker. Lynnea remained Principal Broker when the local brokerage purchased a franchise and became a large Central Oregon brokerage, managing 5 offices and 75 Brokers. In 2010, Lynnea was encouraged to open Bend Premier Real Estate which has grown to be a highly respected, independent, locally owned brokerage in Central Oregon with over 70 Brokers.

In 2016, Lynnea graduated from the Oregon Association of Realtors Leadership academy. Since graduating from the academy, Lynnea has served on the OAR Business Issues Committee and the Central Oregon Association of Realtors (COAR) MLS Committee, chairing the MLS Committee in 2019. In 2017, Lynnea was asked to serve on the Oregon Real Estate Forms Board of Managers, later becoming Chair. For 2022, Lynnea was Chair of the Oregon Realtors Business Issues Key Committee and actively served on the Oregon Realtors Executive Committee, the Oregon Realtors Board of Directors, Oregon Data Share Committee and the Central Oregon Association of Realtors Pac. For 2023, Lynnea is still on the Oregon Data Share Committee, the Oregon Realtors Board of Directors, COARPAC, but is also enjoying a new challenge with the Government Affairs Key Committee.

Lynnea graduated from the University of Oregon Summa Cum Laude in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science degree and graduated first in her high school class in 1979. Lynnea, and her husband have 3 adult children. Lynnea also has been actively involved with the fitness industry holding an ACE certification since 1990 and is a licensed Body Pump instructor. When not helping the Brokers in her brokerage, Lynnea can be found most Saturdays hiking with her husband in various Central Oregon locations thoroughly enjoying exploring the Wilderness areas in the Cascades among other sites.
